Pipe`s Moss stroms home Martin Pipe`s Galant Moss proved that he has not forgotten his French origins when he stormed home in the Prix Hubert D`Aillieres at Auteuil today. Ridden by French champion jockey Christophe Pieux, Galant Moss led from start to finish and was never threatened in the hurdle race over two and a quarter miles to score by five lengths from Grand Canal. His owner Chris Butterham will now stable the eight-year-old in France with Stephane Kalley in preparation for a possible tilt at the Grand Course de Haies D`Auteuil, worth 123,750 euros to the winner. 'It took him a few hurdles to find his stride,' said Pieux, 'but he soon was comfortable and I was very confident when we turned into the final straight for me he is the next winner of the Grand Course de Haies D`Auteuil.'
